Oconnor 1030B Ultimate Tripod Head - AUD 80 / day
This 100mm or 150mm (both options available - please specify) half ball tripod is the smaller brother to the industry standard Oconnor 2575, 2060 and 2065. This is a great tripod head for today's digital cinema cameras. With a suggested camera load between 5 to 17kg, continuous fluid and counterbalance adjustment, +/- 90 degree tilt range and weighing 3.7kg. Miller 30 Series 2 Fluid Tripod Head - AUD 50 / day
This 100mm half ball tripod features 4 levels of fluid drag adjustment on both tilt and pan as well 4 positions of counterbalance. This tripod head is suitable for cameras up to 15kg, and is especially suitable for lightweight DSLR style lightweight camera rigs.
The 4 positions of counterbalance are operated by the red side knob:
1. Red knob pulled out and turned 90 degrees = off (no minimum weight for camera)
2. Red knob pulled out - head tilted forward = back heavy camera
3. Red knob pulled out - head off centred = neutral to front heavy camera
4. Red knob pulled out - head tilted back = front heavy camera
Because counterbalance can be turned off, leaving only fluid drag, there is no minimum camera weight required.
